CellGate is a remote access control device that opens gates and doors using a cellular phone. The device is connected to the gate or door switch and operates by receiving calls from mobile phones. CellGate is much like a sophisticated ID card-based security system, only instead of using costly ID cards and their readers, users use their cellular phones. This alternative solution offers enormous cost savings. CellGate can maintain a database of 2000 users and set user groups and access rules to simplify ownership administration.

Security Levels

CellGate features two levels of security both without the user ever incurring phone costs:

Basic: CellGate users dial their organization’s CellGate number from their cellular device and the gate/door opens as usual. In this option CellGate does not answer the call.

Advanced: Authorized CellGate users dial their organization’s CellGate number from their cellular device and the gate/door opens as usual. Authorization is based on caller I.D..

Managing Access Rights

CellGate administration is conducted locally or remotely via a GSM modem or through the use of SMS. You can manage the access rights of up to 2,000 users. The users can be managed in up to 16 groups with 5 time slots for each group. Access can be restricted to particular times of day.

For example, you can specify that a user group will be granted access during business hours and business days.

Access rights can be also managed from a cell phone. You can:

• find users in the database
• add new users
• delete users
• change users’

Groups by simply sending an SMS the CellGate unit.

Log file

CellGate generates comprehensive access reports. Failed attempts are also recorded. The log file is automatically generated and transmitted by the device to the PC. These log files are accumulated and viewable through the administrative software included with every CellGate.

Dual port

CellGate 2000 comes with two ports that can be connected to two different gates/doors at the same time the CellGate 2000 can also manage intelligent tasks such as synchronizing the opening and closing of doors “Automatic parking attendant” etc.
